Information You Give Us
- Identification and Contact Data. Your name, postal address, email address, phone number, or social media details.
- Account Login Data. Your login ID, email address, screen name, password, and security question and answer.
- Payment and Financial Data. Payment transactions on our website are processed by CyberSource, a third-party payment processor. Polar does not store your credit or debit card information. Please review CyberSource’s privacy policy for information on how your payment data is handled.
- Demographic Data & Interests. Age range, gender, ZIP code, favorite products, and household or lifestyle data.
- Audio, Electronic, and Visual Information. Photos, videos, or other content you share with us on social media or through our Services. We may also record calls with Customer Support.
- Commercial Information. Products or services purchased, considered, or otherwise related to your purchasing history with us.
- Sensitive Personal Information. Certain information you provide may qualify as sensitive under applicable law, including account login credentials and certain demographic data.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device and Browser Data. IP address, device type, browser type, and related online identifiers. If you access our Services on a mobile device, we may also collect your device ID and advertising ID where permitted.
- Internet Activity. Links clicked, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and similar interaction data, collected via cookies, web beacons, and third-party analytics tools.
- Visual Interaction Data. We may record mouse clicks, scrolling, and navigation patterns through our Services, including via heat maps.
- Geolocation Data. IP addresses provide general location. We do not collect precise geolocation data. If location services are enabled on your device, third-party technologies may process that data in connection with our Services; to prevent this, disable location services on your device.
Information We Generate We may draw inferences from the data we collect to build a profile of your preferences and behavior, used for personalization, analytics, and general business purposes.
Information from Third Parties We may receive personal information about you from affiliates, business partners, social media platforms, and advertising networks. This may include data in any of the categories described above.

Improve Our Products and Services To analyze interactions with our Services and marketing, review product feedback, and improve our offerings.
Marketing To send you advertising and marketing communications about Polar products and Services. You can opt out at any time through your account settings, by following the unsubscribe instructions in any message, or through our consent management platform.
Promotions and Sweepstakes To administer any promotions, contests, or sweepstakes we offer. Additional terms may apply to specific promotions.
General Operations To maintain accounts, conduct audits, manage security and fraud prevention, comply with legal obligations, and administer our business.
De-identified or Aggregated Data We may de-identify or aggregate personal information so it can no longer be associated with you. Such information is no longer personal information under applicable law and may be used for any lawful purpose.
4. Who Do We Share Your Personal Information With?
Service Providers and Vendors We share personal information with third parties who help us run our business, including order fulfillment, payment processing via CyberSource, customer support, IT, marketing operations, and analytics. Polar does not retain your payment card data.
Advertising and Analytics Technologies Our website uses Google pixels and similar analytics and advertising technologies. Certain browsing and interaction data may be passed to Google in connection with these services. You can manage these preferences through our consent management platform or by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser.
Other Third Parties We may also disclose personal information to:
- Partners in connection with joint promotions, as disclosed in applicable terms.
- Parties involved in a corporate transaction, including a merger, acquisition, or restructuring.

Right to Know / Access You may request information about the personal information we have collected, used, or shared about you, including categories of data, sources, and purposes.
Right to Correction You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information we hold about you.
Right to Deletion You may request deletion of your personal information where there is no valid business or legal reason for us to retain it. Exceptions apply, and some information may remain in backup systems until routinely purged.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information Polar does not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent commercial purposes, except that our website uses Google pixels and similar analytics and advertising technologies that may result in the sharing of certain browsing and interaction data with Google in connection with advertising services. California residents may opt out of this sharing by using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of our website, adjusting preferences through our consent management platform, or by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser.
Do Not Track Our Services use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. We recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signals. You may also disable cookies through your browser, though some Services functionality may be affected.
Authorized Agents You may designate an authorized agent to exercise your rights. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly.
Non-Discrimination We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

6. Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
Notice at Collection At or before the time we collect your personal information, you have the right to notice of our data practices, including categories collected, purposes, retention periods, and whether data is sold or shared.
Financial Incentives If we offer rewards programs, contests, or other promotions, we collect and use certain personal information to administer them, which may constitute a financial incentive under California law. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information Polar does not sell personal information. However, our use of Google advertising and analytics technologies may constitute “sharing” under the CCPA. California residents have the right to opt out of this sharing as described in Section 5. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors under 16.
Right to Limit Sensitive Personal Information You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to provide the Services you request. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
“Shine the Light” California residents may opt out of sharing personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To do so, contact us as described in Section 12 with the subject line “Shine the Light Opt-Out.”
7. How We Protect Your Personal Information
We use reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You also play a role in keeping your information safe. Use a strong, unique password for your account, never share it, and log out of shared devices after each session. Take advantage of any privacy controls we make available through our Services.
